Bricks Structure

Brick is a popular medium for constructing buildings, and examples of brickwork are found through history. Brickwork is masonry produced by a bricklayer, using bricks and mortar. The mortar of the brickwork is made with the standard ratio of 1:5. the brickwork is done with the help of cord (suttar) tighten in line for the level of the brickwork, brick work is the foundation of the building, it is important to make sure for the building that brick work will be done by the experts so the building can stand in strength and in level.

Steel Shuttering

Shuttering is a temporary mould into which concrete is poured to obtain the desired structural shape on the construction site. Traditional shuttering is fabricated using timber steel plates or pallai plates. the level of the roof slab depends upon the level of its shuttering so the importance of the expert eye in this process in must so the roof slab of the building remains strong and leveled

Structural Steelwork

Structural steelwork is generally used to form the ‘skeleton’ frame of a building or built asset, typically consisting of columns, beams and bedding which are bound by the steel wires, this work is done by personale who are experts in their respective duties so the strength of the building couldn’t be compromised and your dream home or building stands strong.


Concealed electric PVC conduit piping as in drawing will be laid in walls , roof slabs and floor as required. Light and wall boxes (china fitting) will be fixed separate for each floor in size as mentioned in electrical drawings. Main pipe from DB to LESCO shall be in 2” dia. This process is done to create the channel (path) for the electric vires to provide the electricity to the building and all of this will be concealed. 50 Punjab Construction & Real Estate provide experts for this work and after that all the work is being check and verified by the engineers who are supervising the project so the clintele will face no problem after words.

Plumbing Work

All piping shall be of PPRC as per plumbing drawings for cold and hot water. All water lines inside bathroom and kitchen to be concealed. Main line from O.H.W.T will be 2” G.I Karachi make or equivalent. Hot water piping for each washroom and each washroom and kitchen are checked by the analogue pressure gauge for any kind of leakage. However the pipelines for gas are also concealed and checked by the same procedure points of gas will be given in each room or as per drawings

Plaster Work

All internal / external plaster work on walls shall be 1:4 cement and sand mortar and ceiling with 1:3 mortar. However in case of steel shuttering ceilings shall not be plastered. All smooth brick and concrete surfaces will be treated with rich cement rendering prior to plaster. Plaster mortar will be made by sand of chenab and cement. All main holes and septic tanks will be plastered with the mixture of think terrazzo, sand and cement. Base plaster to external surface where facing or tyrolean rendering works are specified shall be done in 1:4 cement mortar and roughed with wire brush to provide key for facing work.


All drain pipes in walls will be fixed as shown in drawings or as per on-site requirements. All vertical and horizontal pipes for drain and sewer will be of PVC, non concealed as shown in plumbing working drawing. Main sewerage pipe shall be 6” maximum placed on well-compacted PCC surface. All main holes to be made in 4 ½” thick brick masonry , terrazzo / chips mixed internal plaster. Maximum size of manholes will be 3x2x2. Septic tank shall be as shown in the architectural drawings finished with terrazzo plaster.

Damp Proof Course

Damp proof course is the procedure to minimize or to control the shore in the building. its mortar is made with sand cement and concrete with the ratio of 1:2:4 and it thickness should not be less than 2″. DPC is of three portions, 1st DPC is done from 1 foot above road level and 2nd DPC is done from 2 feet above road level, than the third step is 3/4″ thick vertical D.P.C with 1:3 cement / sand plaster and bitumen coating on inner faces of all perimeter walls to connect primary and secondary horizontal D.P.C works. after all that polythene sheet and bitumen coating is done on DPC before brickwork

Plinth Beam

Plinth beam is the best replacement of DPC or we can say it is the best measure to treat the shore of the building and for the strength of the building from foundation. plinth beams are made according to the structural drawings provided by the engineers and poured with the mortar of cement sand and concrete ratioing 1:2:4. plinth beams are mostly 11″ to 12″ in depth.

Septic Tank

The septic tank is a buried, water-tight container usually made of brick layer than after that it is bind by the reinforced steel and poured with the ratio of 1:2:4 cement, sand and concrete respectively. after pouring is is coated by the layer of hot bitumen or neeru and 0 size chips. Its job is to hold the wastewater long enough to allow solids to settle down to the bottom forming sludge, while the oil and grease floats to the top as scum. septic tank level is set according to the road and societies sewerage level

Over Head Water Tank

Over head water tank for the house is necessary for water supply. over head water tank capacity is depend upon the size of family for average family 1000 to 1200 liter water tank is enough. it can be of concrete or polythene . in order to make concrete water tank a brick layer of 4.5″ than a structure of reinforced steel which is \poured with the ratio of 1:2:4 cement, sand and concrete respectively. after pouring is is coated by the layer of hot bitumen or neeru and 0 size chips.

False Ceiling

False ceilings are suspended a few inches below the basic ceiling on a metal framework which can be made of any lightweight construction material like wood, plaster of Paris, plywood, or gypsum, depending upon the budget or the requirement. Since there is a gap between these two layers, the air within gets trapped.

Aluminum Work

aluminum work for windows makes the house look more elegant as well as safe. aluminum and glass should be branded and its aluminum thickness should not be less than 1.3mm and it also depends upon the size of the window. and when we are talking about window glass than it shouldn’t be less than 5mm whether it is tempered or not. glass thickness also depends upon the window size.

Tile Work

Tile work for the house is the most premier thing in finishing of the house. tile work required a procedure in which the cement mortar and the tile bond mortar is used as a base than afterward the tiles are being placed by checking the level of the floor. the tiles are of different size. tiles can be used everywhere in the house like flooring stair case washrooms front elevation etc. the quality of the tile should be imported and AAA+. there are different brands who are manufacturing tiles.
